Mixed-Age Class  (children 0 - 5 years old)

In our Mixed-Age classes, babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and the grownups who love them® gather for 45 minutes of fun-filled family music time. Your teacher will lead you and the other families in music activities ranging from lullabies to full-on jam sessions (with child-friendly instruments, of course!). It's so much fun you won't realise how much learning is taking place! Children learn through play. And playing with music is our JAM!

You'll take home the award-winning music used in class, along with an illustrated songbook and other resources. As you discover new ways to play with music all week long, you'll be supporting your child's music-learning and overall development - even if you don't think of yourself as a great singer or dancer.

In this class, everyone participates at their own levels: babies vocalise, listen and observe; toddlers play and experiment; preschoolers build confidence as they emerge as classroom leaders.

Babies Class (infants 0 - 8 months)

This one-term Music Together® Babies Class was created specifically for families with non-mobile infants under 9 months old. You might be wondering what your newborn could possibly take away from a music class and how old they have to be before they can benefit. It's never too early to start making music! Your little one is a natural-born music-maker, ready to start learning music at birth.

Maybe you've noticed that your baby responds when you play a song in the car or sing to soothe them. Babies are naturally musical-- and you don't have to be a great singer or dancer yourself to nurture their love of music.

As in everything, you are your baby's first and best teacher. In this music class for infants, your Music Together teacher will show you how you can support your baby's music development through simple and fun activities. You'll learn lots of musical ways to connect with your little one through music.

Mixed-Age Class (0-5yrs)

This class follows the recommendations of child development researchers - grouping children of a variety of ages because this fosters natural, family-style learning. Younger children enjoy watching and imitating older ones; older children learn by leading younger ones; and adults are happy because the children in the family can go to class together. Each child participates at their own level in singing, moving, chanting, listening, watching, or exploring musical instruments. Babies vocalise, listen and observe; toddlers play and experiment; preschoolers build confidence as they emerge as classroom leaders. Any caregivers - parents, grandparents, nanny - can bring the children. The whole family is welcome for this important family music experience.
